Coshare Science is fully committed to the goal of open research. Our policies help authors to achieve a high level of openness with their research and to bring benefits to researchers, institutions, funders and the wider public.

The Open Access model guarantees that a video article is made immediately available online when published; and it is free to watch for anyone in the world, rather than only to subscribing readers or institutions. The video article is published under a Creative Commons license. These provide an industry-standard framework to support easy reuse, share, or build upon the work of open access material.

Payment for publication is typically made by the authors' institutions or funding bodies, who pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) when the article is accepted.
